Our children have remembered to be sun safe by wearing their sun cream and their sun hats, having a drink if they felt too hot and finding the shade to cool down.

It’s been National Children’s Gardening Week this week and we have been digging and planting in our garden too, to help us to learn about what plants need to grow. We’ve also been thinking about how being outside is really good for our mental health and emotional wellbeing and this applies to the grown ups as well as the children, which is particularly important as it is Mental Health Awareness Week this week.
At nursery we are always thinking about looking after our environment, which has been recently demonstrated by the achievement of our 4th ECO flag and this week was no different as we continued our learning about recycling and remembered to recycle at nursery, particularly on Thursday as we celebrated National Recycling Day and learned about the importance of reusing recyclable materials to reduce waste.
