This week as part of our ongoing learning as a Rights Respecting School we have been talking this week about the children’s rights and how they exercise them in nursery and also our ‘job’ as adults and duty bearers to help them to enjoy these rights. We have been putting up our Rights Respecting Superhero posters around nursery and talking and signing about what the articles from The UN convention on the Rights of a Child look like in the context of our nursery. Based on what each poster said, the children chose where they thought it would be most appropriate to put each of the posters that will support our children and staff to have ongoing discussions about their rights during the nursery session.
