A Visit from Barry the Police Officer

Our children really enjoyed the visit from Barry, a local POLICE OFFICER on Tuesday.

 

Our topic this term  is PEOPLE WHO HELP US and Barry supported the children in learning about what the police force do, what they wear and how they help people. 

This gives our children, not only an understanding of different occupations but also teaches them about safety and about the local community. 

 

The children had great fun dressing up in all of Barry's different police clothes...especially his Policeman's hat!

Many thanks to Barry for giving up his time to visit us. It was a fantastic experience for all.
