Supporting Children in Need: 13/11/15
Our nursery children had lots of fun on Friday 13th November raising money to support BBC 'Children in Need'
We dressed up as our hero or wore Pudsey T-shirts and even Pudsey ears!
In nursery we had special activities to support our learning including Pudsey balloon painting! fortunate that us.
The children brought in a donation and all the money raised will go to the BBC 'Children in Need' fund.
We learned about the reasons we have 'Children in Need' or 'Pudsey Day' and read a special story to help us to understand about how Pudsey and the money raised for Children in Need supports children who are less fortunate than us. We said that our money would be used to help to them to have a better life and be happier children.
We were so lucky to have Pudsey Bear pay us a visit in nursery too. He had lots of photos taken with us, listened to a story with us and even did some dancing! Thank you very much to Pudsey for taking time out of his busy schedule to come to South Normanton Nursery...it was really lovely to see you.
All of todays activities and our special visitor, helped our children to learn about the importance of giving, helping others and being kind to other people.
