Arial & Cindy: 10/09/12
Our nursery chickens Arial and Cindy are back from their summer holiday at Amandas house.
Over the summer they have hatched and reared 2 baby chicks who are now living with them in the nursery garden.
The first is an Orpington chick who had trouble hatching out of his shell...so she is named lucky!
The second is a Pekin chick (the same breed as Arial and Cindy) Her name is Little George.
The children are enjoying helping to look after the new arrivals.
