Singing in the village...it's nearly Christmas now! 21/11/15
We had a brilliant time singing in the village of South Normanton this evening...in spite of the freezing temperatures!
We joined in with the local community celebrations, by performing at the village Christmas market in style, on the back of a giant lorry! The children managed very well, to get up onto the lorry, helped by our wonderfully supportive parents and dedicated staff.
Ours was the opening set and the children performed a fantastic rendition of 'Twinkle, Twinkle Christmas Star' followed by a festive favourite 'Jingle Bells.'
After our performance, we enjoyed listening to singing from the other schools in the village and looking at the stalls and entertainment and absorbing the festive community spirit!
