Our Open Morning was a huge success!
It was a little wet but we still had a very busy time and it was really lovely to see lots of familiar faces but also some new ones too. We were delighted to welcome some new families who came to look round our Nursery and look forward to meeting them again soon!
Everyone had great fun indoors experiencing our fabulous Sensory Room, exploring in the sand and water, investigating with our super science activities, building, creating, dancing and enjoying some yummy snack. In the garden it was very exciting indeed. The children enjoyed exploring our huge and interesting outdoor area and we also had the pleasure of officially opening the nursery garden’s most recent features! We welcomed David Handley from HSBC who have provided funding for our new and challenging climbing frame and our interactive water feature and he kindly helped us with today’s official opening. We are very grateful to David for giving up his time today and to HSBC for enabling us to further develop our outdoor area. Our new features are not only lots of fun to play with but will have a really positive impact on our nursery as they are so valuable to our children’s learning.
At South Normanton Nursery we are always striving to be even better and today we also welcomed Simon and Andrew from the Coop with whom we are working to continue to develop our nursery garden in new and exciting ways! Who know what wonderful changes are a foot!
We’re glad that everyone had a super time and we had some really positive feedback about our outstanding nursery.
Many thanks to all the fantastic staff for giving up their time to come today and prepare for this event over the last few days. It was a real success...and we look forward to the next one!
Thank you also to our governors and visitors from the community including the South Normanton Nursery Gala Crew.
