As the temperatures started to drop with the coming of winter, our nursery chickens Arial, Cindy and Georgina were beginning to feel the chill...brrrrrrr!
So to keep them warm and cozy over the colder months, they have gone on a winter holiday to Amanda's house.
Amanda has lots of other chickens at her house with a lovely sheltered space in the garden with a nice warm chicken house for them to sleep in. Sometimes when it gets really cold she even puts them a little hot water bottle under their straw to keep them extra warm!
Thanks to Amanda for providing a lovely holiday home for our chickens and we hope Arial, Cindy and Georgina have a great winter holiday...we'll look forward to seeing our girls again in the spring when the weather is a bit warmer.
