We've been making lanterns...
We've been working hard at nursery getting ready for the village lantern parade and carol concert.
The children have been making the lanterns in their together time groups using card, tracing paper and decorating them using tissue paper, shapes and pens. They've also added some sparkles for that extra special Christmassy touch.
The lanterns will look fantastic, lit up with torches, as we walk through the streets of South Normanton on Monday 2nd December.
The Parade leaves St Michael's Church car park at 6pm and the concert is set to begin at the Post Mill Centre at 6.30pm.
Nursery children will also be singing two songs at the beginning of the concert.
Children attending the lantern parade need to be accompanied by an adult.
