Christmas Activity Day: 12/12/12
Our Christmas activity day was a "Chilly" success!
Despite to below freezing temperatures both children and parents/ carers enjoyed joining in with seasonal activities, in nursery and in the nursery garden...brrrrr!
We learnt about the traditional celebrations that take place at this time of year and our children and families enjoyed making snowflakes and Santa pictures, writing letters to Santa and making reindeer food to help Rudolf to find his way to their houses on Christmas Eve. We also decorated our Christmas tree and made some turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwiches...yum!
Some of us were even brave enough to wrap up warm and hunt for Santa's numbers or make an angel outside in the nursery garden!
