We had a fantastic time yesterday as out parents, grandparents and carers joined us for a end of year musical celebration.
Throughtout the year we have done lots of our learning through music and rhythm...it is a fantastic way of teaching lots of different aspects of the curriculum including maths, literacy and much of our topic work as well as musical concepts.
Yesterdays concert was a fantastic opportunity to showcase some of what we've done and learned throughout the year and despite the extremely hot weather we had lots of fun.
Very well done to all the children (and the staff) for performing so enthusiastically in the 'tropical' conditions and many thanks to the parents, grandparents and carers who were able to come along and support us.
As we know it is not always possible for everyone to attend these events, this year we have made a recording of some of the songs and we are hoping to put them onto the website.
