Christmas Party Fun with Santa and Goodbye to our Headteacher Angela 19/12/14

Friday was our Christmas party for all the children at South Normanton Nursery.

We had a great time celebrating the Christmas season with party games including Muscal Snowballs, Frozen Statues, The Shrinking Paper Game and the Christmas Hokey Cokey. We even had a Conga Linne around nursery!

Celebrations continued as we nibbled on some lovely party food and drinks whilst listening to trditional Christmas music.

The excitement peaked when we went back to the Jungle Room for a game of Pass the Parcel and had a very special visitor!...

...First we heard the bells...then the "Ho, Ho, Ho"... then Santa Clause arrived at nursery! We were all very excited to see him. The children chatted to Santa and sang him some of our Christmas songs and then he gave eveyone a special early Christmas present.

Thank you to Santa for your special visit and to our friend David who made Santa's visit possible.

It was also a very special day for our Heateacher Angela who said goodbye to South Normanton Nursery School today after 7 years as head. We say thank you to Angela for all her hard work and over the last 7 years.
