Spring/ Easter Activity Day: 23/03/15
Our Spring/ Easter activity day was a springy success!
The weather stayed fine and we welcomed over 20 parents, carers, grandparents and friends throughtout the day to join in with our Easter and spring activities in nursery and the nursery garden.
We learnt about the traditional religious and non religious celebrations that take place at this time of year including making Easter hats, decorating and eating eggs and learning about new life.
Our children and families enjoyed making Easter cakes, decorated with spring flowers and butterflies which tasted lovely. They also painted daffodil pictures, made Easter hats to wear in nursery, decorated eggs with mixed media and made fluffy chick pictures with lots of lovely soft feathers.
In the nursery garden, we hunted for numbers on the easter eggs and planted some beans to take home.
Many thanks to all who supported us in making this day of really egg'citing! The springy playing and learning at nursery was lots of fun.
