A Virtual Tour of Nursery
It was disappointing that we were unable to have our annual open day this year…we are always so proud to show new visitors around our outstanding nursery school. So instead we have created a virtual tour of our nursery, for those of you who would like to get a flavour of our environment and what we’re all about.

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme this year is 'Kindness'
The current pandemic is affecting all of our daily lives and with so much uncertainty and change, this may be a difficult time for children and young people as well as adults.
During this time, it’s particularly important that you support and take care of the mental health of yourself and your children and indeed your whole family. There are lots of things you can do, and additional support is available if you need it.
Here are some links that we have found that may be useful to support you and your family

What fabulous fun we have had at nursery today!
To follow on from our theme about nursing this week, we learnt all about where all the different bones are in our body. The children drew round each other then drew where their bones were. We counted the bones in our arms, our fingers and our feet. What a lot of bones there are in our bodies!
We have played in the sand dusting for fantastic fossils and drawn beautiful chalk rainbows outside.
After such a busy week with lots of fun leaning with our friends, we certainly deserved a special treat so ended the day with a yummy cake.
We understand that it is disappointing that we were unable to run the Planned 'Supporting Phonics' workshop that was planned for before Easter, due to the Covid 19 crisis. However, the link below will take you to the supporting learning area of our website where you can view the presentation about supporting your chid with early their phonics. We hope that you find this helpful.
This morning we held a tea party to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day.
We all wore red, white and blue to nursery and children accessed red white and blue activities. We decorated cakes; spoke about why we are celebrating and listened to songs from the World War II era.
We then had a delicious tea of sandwiches, salad, fruit and cakes that Gwyneth had prepared.
Our festivities will continue tomorrow..
